ER Books goes to great lengths to provide security for our credit card transactions. Whether in person, by phone, by fax, or through online orders, we protect the security and validity of your transaction.

Secure Online Ordering

When you place an order with us using one of our secure order forms, all of the data that you provide will be encrypted by our secure server. Encryption means that the information that you send is scrambled in such a way that only OUR server can read it. Thus, even in the impossibly remote chance that your data gets intercepted as it is routed along the internet, it will appear as indecipherable gibberish and cannot be read by anyone else. We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology -- the encryption process developed by Netscape -- which is the industry standard for processing a secure transaction over the internet. In order to operate an SSL secure server, a business has to obtain a certificate from a "trusted third party" known as a CA (certifying authority). How Can I Tell It's Secure?

It's easy to tell when a document on your browser is coming from a secure server.
One way is to note the status of the security icon provided by your browser. In Netscape Navigator, for example, the icon in the lower left corner of the window will appear as a solid "key" symbol (not a broken key) when you are viewing a secure document. (In Microsoft Internet Explorer, a "padlock" icon is used.)

What if I Still Don't Want to Order Online?

Although we are confident that our secure server provides safe and secure online ordering, we understand that some customers may prefer to order through other means. This is not a problem. Payments

None of your data is processed online. When you have entered your personal details on the form, your data is encrypted and sent over a secure encrypted connection to our database. As soon as your transaction has been processed, all your credit card details are permanently removed from the database. Your payments will be registered discreetly to EPS MacHo on your credit card statement, not Erotic Review Books.

Deliveries & Correspondence

All deliveries and correspondence you receive from Erotic Review Books will be discreetly packed in plain wrappers marked "EPS".
