The centrepiece of this new discovery is a manuscript of the most subversive underground fiction, with 23 illustrations by Tom Poulton. These are accompanied by a further 63 drawings of unrivalled explicitness. Some of these seem to complement the story. Others, like the scenes of lesbian orgies, clearly do not. Together the group testifies to the taste, if not the obsessions, of one collector, perhaps even Poulton himself.

The Story:

At a girls' boarding school in a fold in the Sussex downs, the innocent new French master is wickedly seduced by the most depraved girls in his class. No form of carnality appears too extreme and soon young Nigel is corrupted beyond redemption.

Period fantasies prove enduringly erotic - and deliver a kaleidoscope of sexual activity; A girl in a shooting-brake has pleasure with a ball-headed gear-stick; another on a racing bike reveals all - intentionally; Lesbianism, anal and oral sex graphically drawn; a transsexual Narcissus clad only in a basque and nylons masturbates before a mirror, while groups indulge in full-blown orgies.
