About the Erotic Review Magazine Photography Competition

The Erotic Review's Photographer of the Year Prize 2010 is now closed.

The competition is the first major internationally recognised annual erotic photo competition award of its type. The award is accessible to everyone, whether a gifted amateur or an established professional. We want to enable photographers of all levels to compete in the worldwide arena.

We do not intend to censor, categorise or theme "erotica", this is simply an erotic photography competition for exceptional erotic imagery. We have placed only a few restrictions for photographs suitable for the Erotic Photography Award and that it must represent sexuality of a single person or between consenting adults. We will not tolerate any works that include references to minors or animals! Otherwise we want to encourage imagery expressing all aspects of sexuality and subject matter, heterosexual, gay and lesbian, transsexual, fetish and other alternative lifestyles.

Call for Entries

The erotic photography competition is now closed, and the deadline for entries was February 7th 2010

We will be accepting payment and image submission both ON-LINE and by CD by post. All competitors must to register on-line first.

Judging

The entries will be judged by an independent panel.  The competition judges for this year's panel (see JUDGES page for details) are:

Prizes

• First Prize
• £1,000.00 plus a feature spread in both the Erotic Review magazine and the Competition Book. This award will be decided by the judges. They will be judging original outlook, accomplished photographic skills, and above all, coherent, technically proficient and exceptional erotic imagery.
• Second Prize
• £250.00 plus reproduction in the Erotic Review magazine and Competition Book. This will be awarded by the vote of the Erotic Review's registered readership and what they have selected as the best single image.

Competition Book

Both winners, along with a selection from the Top 50 Photographer's images will be featured. The Prize-winners and selected entries will be featured on the Erotic Photography Award website, with links to the photographer's websites. The Prize-winners and Photographers selected for the Top 50 will have copies of the book posted to them.

All submissions will be listed on the Erotic Review Books Photography Prize website, these will not be linked to any external websites. We look forward to seeing your entries.
