Readers Prize
In
2008 the Erotic Review launched its first annual Photographer
of the Year prize. The competition's aim was to be the first major
internationally-recognised award of its type, accessible to everyone,
whether gifted amateur or established professional.
The competition was a roaring success: Erotic Review Readers
voted for their favorite images in their droves, until almost
half a million votes were cast. The book-of-the-prize has become
one of our best-ever-selling titles.
Entry
for the 2010 competition has now closed and a panel of judges
is currently appraising the work submitted to this year's competition
to award the Judges' Prize.
There's another prize to be given, the Readers' Prize and for
this we urgently need your kind support and help.
You, the readers of the Erotic Review, will award your very OWN
prize, to which end we're inviting you to browse the website and
cast your vote. The cut-off date for you vote is the 31st March.
Both
winners, along with a selection from the top 50 photographer's
images will be featured in the Erotic Review's Photographer of
the Year 2010 Book, to be published later this year.
We do not intend to censor, categorise or theme “erotica”,
this is simply an erotic photography competition for exceptional
erotic imagery. We have placed only a few restrictions for photographs
submitted: that they must represent sexuality of a single person
or between consenting adults and the legality of the images submitted
should not be in any doubt. Otherwise we want to encourage imagery
expressing all aspects of sexuality and subject matter, heterosexual,
gay and lesbian, transsexual, fetish and other alternative lifestyles.
If you think you have a discerning eye, or even if you just love
erotic photography, please don't miss out on the chance to cast
your vote. See who you think has the most original perspective,
accomplished photographic skills, and above all, coherent, technically
proficient and exceptional erotic imagery. Please remember, you
must have voted for your favourite photographer by the 31st of
March!
Thank you in advance for the help and enthusiasm which I'm sure
you will give to this important project.
