Durante's and Idoia's more extreme visions of the female body and its functions are made flesh: among other 'acts', Idoia takes two objects and introduces them to her vagina and her anus; she urinates prettily in a field of scarlet poppies, cruelly mistreats her prominent labia, or fists herself mercilessly in both orifices. This exploration of the senses - and the sensual - to the very limits of decency is an artistic conspiracy between photographer and model.
