Bordello
Vee Speers is an Australian photographer based in Paris. Her collection of over 50 sensual images was inspired by the French brothels of the 1920s, a period of freedom, sexual decadence and extravagant lifestyle.
In a style reminiscent of the 20s but reconstructed from a contemporary viewpoint, the images in BORDELLO leave only a thin but timeless veil between
reality and fantasy.
With a foreword by Kate Hamilton, introductory essay by Paul Ryan, afterword and notes on techniques by Vee Speers.
- A brilliant new talent emerges in the field of erotic photography. BORDELLO reeks with style and sophistication.
- Vee Speers fulfills every man's (and woman's) whorehouse fantasies. Her photographs evoke a lost era once captured
by Bellocq and BrassaÇ.
- Paul Ryan's fascinating history of the French brothel is full of intriguing facts and painstakingly researched.
- The shocking story of how Parisian brothels still operated - and thrived - under Nazi occupation.
- Rarely does such a small book pack such a powerful punch of nostalgic sex and glamour. Don't miss BORDELLO - it's a must at just £9.95!
